I really have no idea how this one happened. I haven't written something Lily/Sirius in years.
Actually, It Did Hurt When I Fell From Heaven
This was nothing new for Sirius Black. Sitting outside the Transfiguration classroom, Filch pacing back and forth in front of him, shooting glares at him every few moments.
"So where is my lovely Head of house?" he asked, trying to pass the time.
Filch stopped walking, turned to the seventh year, then growled, before returning to his pacing.
"I mean, not to rush you or anything, because I'm sure you're terribly busy, you know, keeping that stick placed firmly up your-"
"Mr. Filch?" a voice called from around the corner. "Oh, there you are sir."
"What is it Ms. Evans?" Filch growled.
"Well sir, you see, I was just on my way down here to deliver a message from Professor McGonagall," the redhead explained politely. "She's terribly busy and wanted me to inform you that she would greatly appreciate it if you could escort him down to her in the dungeons."
Filch growled, clearly annoyed.
"But on my way up here sir," Lily continued, "I passed by several third years tampering with the lights in the Charms hallway. I tried to stop them sir-"
Another growl. "I'll take care of it Ms. Evans." Then he grumbled something along the lines of "Why do I have to do everything?"
"Sir, if you would like, I could-"
"Escort Black down to McGonagall," he ordered, completely ignoring her.
"Of course sir," she nodded, then turned to Sirius. "You better not cause anymore problem," she said as Filch walked around the corner and down the hall.
"Well if it isn't my very own Lady in shining armor," Sirius said, grinning.
Lily rolled her eyes as he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into a kiss.
"Sirius Black," she said. "You will be the death of me."
"Are you kidding? You wouldn't know what life was without me."
"I somehow doubt that," she said, kissing him again.
"So how much of that story was true?" he asked, guiding her up the stairs.
"A bit," she said mysteriously.
Sirius kissed her again.
"I have no idea where McGonagall is, though she probably is busy, and there were some third years messing around in the Charms hallway..."
"But…" he prompted, knowing there was something she wasn't saying.
"But… I may have offered them a box of butterbeer and a free pass if I ever catch them sneaking around after hours again."
"Tesla and her gang of floozies?" Sirius asked.
"Naturally."
"You know Lily Evans," he said, kissing her once more. "I'm beginning to think you've been spending too much time with me."
"Oh, and why is that?"
"I didn't even have to ask you to help me get away from Filch."
"I didn't say my services were entirely free," she said, a hint of mischief in her eyes.
