"Okay, so we're here.", Eli said as he dropped his luggage on the bed.
How Clare had ever even let him talk her into this writers convention was indeed a mystery. But she couldn't stand to him upset, especially after getting one of his own works published.
It was 8 p.m. when they'd arrived to the hotel after a long agonizing drive there. Truth be told Clare was starting to feel suffocated by Eli. During the whole car ride, Eli talked about how much fun they'd have. All she did was sigh lightly and wish to go home.
She called first use on the shower. It was quite a nice hotel room. There was a glass shower and a bathtub, with two sinks. As Clare undressed and stepped into the shower she only thought of her relationship with Eli. Everything had been fine up until they started working on his book together. Was there even a chance of reconcilliation?
SLAM!
She looked towards the bathroom door, wich had Eli standing in front of it.
"Eli?", she said turning off the running water and peeking out of the shower.
"Clare," he spoke angrily, "You seem pretty pissed. What's wrong?"
"Nothing," Clare spoke firmly, "Can you please get out? I would like to finish my shower in peace."
With that said, Clare turned around but had not anticipated being yanked out of the shower by Eli. Her eyes grew wide. And she stood there speechless in all glory in front of Eli. She looked away using her hands to cover up, only to have them caught by Eli's own hands.
"Let me go."
"Answer my question."
They both stood there for a moment. Clare scowling up at Eli, who looked amused running his eyes up and down her body.
"Eli let me go! I'm serious!"
"So am I, Clare."
He then pinned her against the wall, pressing there bodies together. She let a groan.
"I want answers, Edwards.", he said begging to lick her collarbone.
"E-Eli, please stop..."
"Nope, not until I get an answer.", he said while trailing kisses down her neck to her chest.
She was afraid of where this was going, and knowing Eli, he'd take it pretty far, literally and metaphorically. Clare sighed from both pleasure and annoyance.
"Eli, I've been feeling...trapped.."
Eli stopped all of his ministrations. He looked up at Clare with blood-shot eyes. Clare cocked her head to the side. He almost looked like he was about to cry...
Eli stepped away from Clare and walked towards the door.. But something inside of Clare had told her not to let him go. She knew not everything in their relationship had been perfect, but she loved him.
Quickly grabbing a towel she grabbed Eli's hand before he walked out.
"Eli, that doesn't mean I don't love you."
No response from him.
"Because I do," she continued, "I want to be with you...I just felt like I didn't have a choice in coming."
No response.
"Eli, please.."
He turned around with a blank expression, and shoved her back against the wall.
"I know you do, Clare, that's why you came."
She smiled.
"I know we'll have a great time this weekend. I'm gonna go finish my shower."
As she re-entered the shower, he appeared in the shower behind her.
"Eli, what are you doing-"
She was cut off by his lips smashing against hers. His hair clung to his face from the water, his white T-shirt now more transparent than cellophane, his pants seemingly growing tighter by the second. In other words, he looked absolutely breath-takingly hot.
As he broke the kiss, Clare took in the sight of this gorgeous boy. She found it hard to resist him.
"You want me to stop, Clare bear?"
She slowly shook her head.
He smirked, "That's what I thought."
Eli slowly parted his lips and began to go down near Clare's core.
