Memory One-The Deal

Davey Jones reached out his slimy hand to shake Jack's and I's, this would seal the deal, our deal to bring the Pearl back from the dark and dreary depth. I tried to act like I wasn't nervous, but in truth, I didn't know that any ship was worth knowing that your death would be coming, whether you still had the ship or not..

Jack was apparently able to make his decision and grabbed the man's hand, I would stand by Jack no matter what he decided to do, and I guessed that he would be able to weasel us out of this before our eventual death, or slavery on the Flying Dutchman. I had complete trust in him, so I would stand by him now, and get the Pearl back from her watery grave. I shook the creatures hand and as the Pearl rose from the depths Davey turned to us both.

"I'll be coming for you in thirteen years… best be ready." He climbed aboard his ship and I shuddered while Jack jumped onto the magnificence that was the Black Pearl, we watched as the Ghost ship sank into the waters, pulling its crew with it. He put a reassuring arm around my shoulder.

"It was worth it luv."

Memory Two- Betrayal

When I awoke I remembered the happenings of last night. I laughed, Jack Sparrow and I were to be married something that he had sworn up and down that he would never do… he was going to do with his first mate. I laughed and looked around for Jack; I twirled the feather in my fingers as I opened the door and walked out looking at Jack who was standing on the helm of the ship talking to Barbossa. As I walked closer I heard them talking about me.

"I'm telling you, I heard her talking to Bootstrap about her plan to overthrow you and then sail to Isle De Muerta to get the treasure all for herself." Jack just stood there and watched the crewman, I waited with baited breath to see if he would call out the lie, but all I could hear was silence. I felt a twinge in my chest and kept myself silent. "She talked about telling you that she loved you to get ye trust and then she was going to get rid of ye."

"Was she now?" He stroked his chin and the pain in my chest grew, but I stilled my face to not show anything if he agreed.

"Yes, she also spoke of a plan to put something in your drink last night so that you would be out of sorts…" Jack's eyes widened before they hardened, and I knew that look, someone was going to be taught a lesson, and this time it was going to be me. "I should have told you yesterday Captain, I'm sorry."

"No, no, now we have proof…" Just then Jack yelled down to Bootstrap who was sitting on the deck trying to find adequate light in the overcast weather that was that day, writing to his family about his made up life of his. "Find Ms. Flynn, I want to speak to her…" I stepped out of the shadows by the door to the Captain's cabin. I turned to Bill.

"No need, I'm right here." I walked up onto the helm and faced Jack. "Do you believe what Barbossa has to say?"

"Yes-" I could tell he was going to say something but I put my hand over his mouth as to stop him, but he had other ideas and he bit me, forcing me to pull my hand away. "And your going to walk the plank for it… To give you a fair chance we will of course wait till we're near an island, then we're going to toss you off with one shot."

"No thank you Jack." I strode to the very aft of the boat and sighed and turned to the crew, "Thank you men, when things go bad, blame Barbossa, but goodbye!" and with that I dove over the boat and into the cold Caribbean, the stormy day that it was, and swam, while the salt from my tears mixed with that of the sea's.
