"Janeigh, will you read the last paragraph of this section?" The professor's bland voice traveled through the classroom. One fourth of the class seemly paid attention to the subject at hand as the others tried not to fall asleep or get caught text messaging.
A teenage girl stood up, holding her history book with one hand. "If my precious people shall ever need me I will raise in the moment that brings about change to the world. Only he in his moment of death shall bring about the end of the old world and the beginning of the new. Only in humanity's most crucial moments will the light of hope break through the darkness and shine bright once again."
Fairly short, but it leaves things with a bit of mystery. I haven't seen anyone crossovers of this type tried and I thought I'd give it a shot.
