"Why the hell did you do that? You almost started a bar fight?"
They stand outside a bar in the cold. "He was rude", was the only answer Pete was giving her.
"He is not your problem, Pete." There were times where she appreciate his caring. But this times were over. And they would never come back. She looks at him and tries to search for some understanding in his face.
"You deserve something better than that", he insists.
"I'm a big girl, Pete. And I decide what I deserve. And you, you should fight for someone you care for. Not for me. That is long over. Let's be honest, it was a bad, bad habit."
With that words she turns around to go back in the bar.
"What if I care?" She does not answer. She just enters the bar to search her date.
