racing with our wings abound
We're flying through the skies; soaring – then we fall - our wings melting under the sun. – jamesiirose - for Rachel
She's the kind of girl with the world on her arms – the possibilities are endless – but he's just the kind of guy who pranks and jokes and has one scenario type of future in store for him.
They both f l y with their wings – racing each other; childish on their parts – and they s o a r the skies – keeping flight.
They clash in personalities – him loving the attention; very rash and immature – her being a bookworm; liking the solitude and thinks all things through first before acting, but they still are cousins – and family sticks together.
They balance each other out – the weight on their shoulders unbearable if handled individually – but together; they are able to manage to work through all the stress and expectations – they were a team.
James and Rose needed each other to lean on – they relied on each other too much to feel safe. It was fine for a while – until he kissed her.
The simple flame ignited to a wildfire – the relief and helplessness created this chaotic feeling – and it started to feel so right and the emotions that were pent up all this time, released – and were expressed in ways that their family would have had to tear them apart from each other.
They flew side by side – keeping each other balanced – soaring the skies; flying. Then he fell – dropping out of the sky; his wings melting under the glare of the sun.
He dropped – falling unto the dirt and gravel below – the fire consuming his body and turning him into ashes – leaving her to deal with everyone else.
She flew along – not noticing anything until she looked over her shoulder; horrified at the thought of her companion leaving. She looked and looked everywhere for him – and then became frantic. When they asked her where he was – she said they will see him again – but not in this world; and breaks down into tears when the family looked each other quizzically – and tried their best to calm her down.
"I killed him! I bloody killed him! I told him that I didn't love him like he did!" she shrieks at them – and realizing what she said, and added, "He didn't want to put up with that . . . and killed himself."
She breaks into tears once more and runs out of the house – unable to cope with what happened; took a rock from the nearby stream and plunged it into her heart – then joined him up in the clouds.
They fly through the skies; soaring – until they fell – their wings made out of wax - melted under the sun.
