Good evening Fanfiction! Just another small short about Zelda and the funny situations in the games. As I'm sure you could have guessed, Jim and Gary are made up, while Impa and the rest belongs to Nintendo. Happy readings.

*Also, this story was posted before, but (For some reason), the actual text was No More Rain. No idea why that happened. Please excuse the mix up.*

"Hey Jim...?"

"Yeah, Gary?"

"Did you hear some rustlin' 'bout a few seconds ago?"

Jim stopped to think about it. The two soldiers were doing rounds around the castle's hedge garden, and had been on duty since the early morning. Their shift was over soon, but, like the professional guards they were, they didn't stop doing sweeps or looking around until the end-of-shift bell rang.

"Come ta' think of it..." Jim started slowly. He recalled a moment when a small movement had captured his attention. "Yeah, I think I did! Do ya think it was the wind or somethin'?"

Gary shook his head. "No, there's no lick o' a breeze today."

Jim quickly turned to face his brother at arms. "Are you sayin' it was a human?"

"I'm not saying nothing." The senior guard tapped his spear on the ground twice. "It was probably a bird or somethin'. Jus' forget 'bout it."

"But I did hear a noise, jus' like you said!" Jim babbled excitedly. "And I thought I saw a kid in green run in ta' the courtyard where th' Princess is!"

Gary laughed. "Ah course ya did." The older man sighed. These young recruits were always looking for trouble. Jim had probably imagined it.

Jim nervously put his hand on his hip. "Should we tell someone?"

"Impa is there: Princess Zelda will be okay if there is someone."

"But if th' kid got past us, maybe Impa thought he was jus' Zelda's friend?" Jim squeaked. "What if th' kid's a pint-sized assassin?"

Gary poked Jim with the butt of his weapon. "Calm down. I'm sure ya didn't see or hear nothin'. If someone had gotten past us, th' alarm would have been raised."

Jim nodded. "Yeah, yeah." He wiped sweat off of his brow. "No one got in or nothin'."

"Good man." Gary clapped his hand on the recruit's shoulder. "Now get back to your rounds."

Then, just as Jim turned around to keep up his duties, Impa came marching out of the castle's interior court yard.

She was followed by a small boy in green.

"See!" Jim squeaked. "What did I tell ya?" Te younger man started to quake in his boots. "Oh, when Impa gets back, she'll- she'll...!"

"I'll do what?" Impa's low voice growled.

Jim yelped and jumped a few feet backwards.

Impa gave him a strange look. "Well, I do know one thing I'll do." Jim swallowed in terror as Impa's face broke out in a huge smile. "I'll congratulate you on doing such a fantastic guarding job! Keep it up!" Impa nodded at both the guards and stalked off.

"But didn't we jus' let someone slip past us?" Jim muttered, awfully confused.

"Don't question the Sheikahs, boy." Gary sighed. "I still don't their motives half 'o th' time."
