Author's Note: This story is a little different compared to common Xiaoyin stories. This is a very short one-shot. That's all I'll say for now. Please enjoy! I do not own the characters of TEKKEN, Namco does… cuz they're awesome!
Letting Go
He remained lying on the cold, hard floor as he kept spitting up blood. His wife was frozen in shock and couldn't think straight. Her husband was dying in front of her and there was nothing she could do to save him. Jin continued spitting out blood while trying to speak to his wife in an effort to calm her. Xiaoyu kept panicking. How was she supposed to help him? Jin told her not to worry and that all of this was his destiny. With the birth of his daughter Jin was freed from the devil gene. All the blood he was spitting out was the cursed Mishima blood. It was an extremely dark shade of red and it smelled sour. In order for the devil to release him he would have to die. Jin was most definitely in his last hour. Xiaoyu started to regret marrying Jin. She didn't know this would be the outcome of their marriage. She never wanted him to die. Jin apparently wanted this. He just wanted to be free. To achieve freedom he would have to leave his loved ones forever. The least he could do was give Xiaoyu his last name before leaving her. He reassured her that this was what he wanted but his words couldn't reverse the sorrow she was feeling. An hour of suffering was much better than suffering for years upon years. That was the punishment Jin had to bear all his life but now it was going to end for good. Jin was satisfied.
The Kazama name would live on with Xiaoyu. All the honorable titles and qualities Jin was known for would now be inherited by his daughter. Xiaoyu intended to raise her to become powerful and brilliant just like her father, Jin Kazama. The little girl's birth gave her father freedom; the thing he was searching for ever since he sprouted those horrendous wings and horns. As his chapter ended her story was just getting started.
Author's Note: I decided to avoid writing up a part where Jin is dead and Xiaoyu is mourning. It's obvious what happens to him at the end so I didn't see it necessary to add it in. I figured that would be too sad, even tho he's just a fictional man. Well this was yet another dream I had. This was pretty intense but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I really don't know what was in my mind when I went to bed that night. Who cares?! XD Hope you guys enjoyed this.
