Chapter 1

My Acquaintance's Mom is a Goddess

ARSEUS

I am Arseus Solun, 17 years old. I have a blonde-ish ivory colored hair and tanned skin. I never liked being blonde anyways. Also I live in New York, Manhattan. When I woke up, I could see my mom looking at the sky, through the telescope. Right, my mom is an astronomer. I always wonder who my dad might be, and I asked her a lot of times to my mom, she would not talk about him. She said it made her sad. I resented my dad for leaving my mom alone. My mom, Delona, was awesome, and she didn't deserved to be alone.

Anyhoo, I stuffed my toast into my mouth, and left for school. At the front door, a girl with milk brown skin with black eyes. She looked like typical California girl to me, but purple hair ruined the image.

"You, Arseus?" she asked. Clearly annoyed. " You're late".

"Yes, and I don't care" I replied.

"Expected." she said. Then she started to haul me by my arm.

I tried to resist, but it didn't work out very well, since I'm not that athletic. "Let, Me, Go!" I yelled

The girl finally let me loose when we were in gym. "What's your name anyways and why did you do this?" I asked.

"Luna" she said "Also, Ms. Dodds asked to bring you here".Ms. Dodds hated me. In return she is my number one least favorite(Hated) teacher."Arseus, Luna?" Ms. Dodds asked. Excited. Why? I thought.

"The voice creeps me very, very much." Luna said, although it sounded like Ms. Dodds was a monster.

Ms. Dodds laughed like a maniac, which is guess she actually is. Her muscle started to bulge "Okay, this, is creepy." I muttered in half horror, half from dread.

Then, I saw a girl looked about sixteen walking toward me and Luna. "HANDS OFF MY DAUGHTER AND NEPHEW!" she boomed.

"Ugh." Ms. Dodds, the she-devil(Literally, since she was an empousa) a second, Ms. Dodds turned into a golden powder and disappeared

"Who,Who are you?" I asked.

"My mom." Luna said

"Why, I am goddess of Moon, hunt, hills, forests, and archery, Artemis." the goddess said.
