Coming into the peppermint forest
One day with Mr. Mint whistling a tune
With a axe slung over his shoulder intent on chopping some peppermint trees
Down to carve them into peppermint flutes
But then the whistling stops and the axe is dropped
And Mr. Mint gasps in surprise and wonderment
Most of the peppermint trees have little bite marks around the bottom
As Mr. Mint starts walking around wondering what made those bite marks
