Battle Against The Sprites.
Poem by Keiyou

T'was a morning on Onyx,
Unaware that last night,
The world was overloaded,
By the terror of Sprite.

Through the server they scurried,
All turning up a little button nose,
Knowing they sparkled cuteness,
From their heads down to their toes.

All over Onyx players cried,
Voices echoing without delay,
"No more chibis dammit,
We get enough of that in anime!"

Yet with their sizes of plush,
Child like faces cute even in filth,
The other races muttered an "awww",
Including the Sylph!

With NPC's conned into cooing,
And monsters crying in fear,
With hopes that avengers,
Soon would appear.

In Sapphire I played,
Having roamed all over the map,
I had just settled down,
In town for a nap.

When from the Event Forum,
There rose such a rant,
I sprung from the server,
To see PallasAthene chant.

"Come one; come all,
On Onyx we desire,
A war on the Sprite,
Against the imps we'll conspire.

"Show your furry,
Complain about their size,
And don't you fall for,
Those cute little eyes!

"They've plagued us enough,
We must stand and unite,
For honor and glory,
Against them we must fight!"

A fight against the Sprite?
Surely this is a jest,
Why can't everyone just get along,
Lay their differences to rest?

Yet with a spring in my step,
And a laughter in my heart,
I cry "What the heck,
Let's tear them apart!"

With furious speed,
To Onyx I run,
Maybe this isn't so bad,
It might actually be fun!

In Sapphire I hear,
A cry from a far,
A Sprite could only make that noise,
Oh dear...it's my other avatar.

With a shrug of my shoulders,
I enter Onyx to play,
Can't let that cuteness intervine,
Besides I like making fun of myself anyway!

With Sylph as my person,
I'm armed and all set,
With Hunter as my job,
I could take out twenty I bet!

Humans put on sour faces,
Shuras pumped for the battle,
Sylphs gathered all their power,
Together we'll heard them just like cattle.

Soon a fight had broke out,
The jeers far and wide,
The duals super dramatic,
There was nowhere for them to hide.

Monsters joined in,
Excited by the screams,
While NPC's cheered,
"Give them ****, those kniving beans!"

When from out of nowhere,
Smoke rose up all around,
There appeared the Chasm King,
His robes trailing the ground.

Behind him there stood the other eleven,
All lined up in rank,
Standing at attention,
Their faces indifferent and blank.

The war was silenced,
All weapons were lowered,
The Chasm King looked all around,
At everyone he glowered.

"This is an outrage!"
He sounded so perturbed.
"Rallying against the Sprites?
This is obsured!"

The three races cowered in worry,
While Sprites gloated on cue,
Until they heard him say in a pout,
"Why didn't you invite us too?"

With that the fight continued,
Until the break of dawn,
When the sun arose in the sky,
All the maggots were gone.

Except for one or two,
Who'd fled far away,
O'er the map they scattered,
Guess that was okay.

With a new hope in our hearts,
A great celebration followed after,
With fireworks and dancing,
The server was filled up with laughter.

Meanwhile in the background,
The twelve kings made haste,
They had no time to party,
These trivial things were a waste.

As they left for wherever,
The Chasm King shouted outright,
"Good luck to you all,
and to **** with the Sprite!"

The End.

As a bonus I'll finish off with a haiku!

Three foot nothing beast,
Cuteness means nothing to me,
On your corpse I'll feast!
