Pairing: Kakashi/Naruto, Hinata/Shino, Sasuke/Gaara, and Sakura/Ino
They had come a long way from being teacher and student, they are only seperated by 3 years though. They had gone from teacher and student, to comrades. They were both on the same anbu team, which was; Naruto, Kakashi, Hinata, and Sasuke (who returned to the village 6 years after leaving). Their relationship evolved after one particular mission involving kimonos and sake, and from there they got married.
"Kakash-sensei, why is it you're late for missions, but on time for dates?" the blonde looking slightly up at the silver hair jonin.
"Papa! Don't be mean to Scarecrow-chan!!" The young girl with white pupil less eyes chimed in from her position sitting on Naruto's shoulders.
"Ren-chibi, must you call chan?" The girl smiled and laughed at the silver haired man.
"Well duh... scarecrow-kun just sounds too lame." the two men turned toward the approaching woman who had a small figure following her.
"Hinata-chan, thanks for coming to help celebrate Ren's birthday, it's too bad Shino's on a mission." the blonde placed Ren gently on the ground as he said this.
"Yes Hinata I don't think we can thank you enough for being our surrogate." stated Kakashi as he patted Ren on the head.
"I think letting me keep Obito is thanks enough don't you?" At that moment the small figure rushed out from behind Hinata and hugged Ren.
"Onee-chan!!!!!"
'Sheesh Obito-kun we just saw each other at training with Neji-sensei this afternoon." Obito released her and just smirked.
"So? I missed my little sister."
"Hey we're twins, how can you be older?"
"I came out first!"
"Did not!"
"Did so!" The continued arguing for a minute or two when Naruto finally had enough and decided to change the subject.
"Sheesh the both of you! The way you two train you'll be chunin at seven like Kakashi." The blonde pointed his thumb at the silver haired man for a few seconds.
"That's a bad thing?" replied Kakashi.
"I don't want her in the forest of death until she's at least 10!"
"Papa! That's not fair, I can already do Rasengan and Scarecrow-chan promise me and Obito he'd teach us Chidori soon." This statement earned Kakashi a glare from Naruto and Hinata. Kakashi quickly covered Ren's mouth and sweatdropped as he said.
"Oh the things kids say these days." this caused the whole group to burst out laughing.
The laugh was suddenly interrupted by and explosion at the village gate, followed by two more explosions around the borders of the village. The shock of an attack suddenly settles on the three team mates and they went into a defensive formation to protect Ren and Obito.
They were too late, the two siblings' eyes had turned a rose color and the veins around their eyes were bulging. The quickly stole their birthday presents of the restaurant table and ran off towards the explosions.
"How did they know we got them stocked weapon pouches?" Questioned Hinata.
"Why did we get them stocked weapon pouches?" was Kakashi's response. Both looked toward their third companion.
"What's a weapon pouch without weapons?" Replied a nervous Naruto. "Anyway, why does this matter? Shouldn't we go after them?"
Both Hinata and Kakashi sweatdropped and blushed, then replied in unison "Oh Yeah."
The three disappeared in a puff of smoke and headed toward the explosions.
