This is something that came to me while I was brushing my teeth so don't judge

"What?" Caroline said in confusion.
It was only a few days ago that she had come to New Orleans and she had already experienced what Klaus meant when he told her she could be queen. That she could have power and respect. And she was loving it
"I cant be saved" That grabbed her attention
"No, Klaus no! I saw you a few days ago with Hope in the attack! She's your humanity. Cant you see?" She was desperately trying to make him see that he was wrong. That what he was saying was wrong.
"But Marcel..."
With that Caroline knew what he was talking about. Marcel had come a few days ago to take Hope, and in the process Caroline had almost died. It was Klaus that had saved them, killing Marcel in the process.
"But if I could kill someone that close to me then..."
Caroline took his face in her hands, forcing him to look ta her
"Listen to me Klaus" She said looking directly into his eyes "Marcel was going to kill me and Hope. You saved us and I love you for that"
"How can you love someone like me. I'm a monster"
"I know the real you. The one I tried so hard to push aside. I've seen that Klaus. I love him but I also love how strong you are. How merciless you are towards the people hurting the ones you love" She could see his eyes shining with emotion and could feel her own tears building "I love you Klaus. Never forget it"
"I love you too," He said, his voice braking at the ending.
