A/N: This is part of the Royal Flush Drabble Challenge on the POT Stands for Pointless but Original Talking! forum. This is my crappy try at Sweet Pair, though I really do love this pairing. XD I'm just posting here so others can see my pathetic attempt at this challenge. I already posted my five stories to the forum, though. Hah. My deed is done.
Sometimes, Marui Bunta wondered if Jirou was really looking at him and his personality instead of his amazing Tightrope Walking skills in tennis. Other times, he wondered if the blonde was even capable of loving, what, with his frequent fanboying over amazing tennis players in general. But that never stopped him from allowing the said boy to cling to him all the time.
Akutagawa Jirou, despite his fanboying ways - mainly involving his idol, Marui, and the brown-haired tensai, Fuji Syuusuke - actually loved Marui Bunta. Though he really wasn't sure if the redheaded, bubblegum blowing tensai knew that much. He was truly afraid of the outcome. The extent of their relationship was frequent cake-buying sprees after school and over the weekends.
Smiling, the redhead leaned his hand down and petted the touseled blonde hair of the sleeping boy in his lap. Whether it was only for fanboying purposes or not, Marui Bunta always wanted Akutagawa Jirou to stay by his side, if only to feel his own heart melt at the smile he received when the smaller boy saw him. It was something that he truly lived for.
