Percy Jackson and the Twisted Mind
It all happened so fast!
It was almost impossible. Annabeth and I were waiting for the arrival of our new baby boy. He would be called Jayden. With both the powers of my father Poseidon and Annabeth's mother Athena, he would be stronger than any demigod ever. Nico di Angelo and Thalia Grace would be godparents. Now, children of the 'Big Three' have powers beyond any demigod. Annabeth had some of Zeus' traits as he is her grandfather, meaning our son will have the strength of three Gods.
Immediately, after his birth, Jayden grew to my size and he looked like my age as well. He then stole Riptide out of my pocket and drove it straight through Thalia's heart. She crumpled to the floor. He then placed his hand over his mouth a whispered something in Ancient Greek. I knew what he said. Woe to her depraved soul. He then placed the white mist that had started to form in her mouth and she woke up, coughing and spluttering. He laughed. He then summoned lightning and repeated the process by killing Nico with it. At this point I was in utter disbelief. I couldn't understand how my son would do this to me. I also didn't understand how he could have the power to revive the dead. He must have been like Nico, a son of Hades.
As fast as thought I grabbed his wrist and twisted it backward so Riptide clattered on the floor. He stared at me blankly. He tried to drown me by using the lightning to blow a hole in the water dispenser. I erected a shield around Annabeth, Thalia and Nico, allowing them to breathe and lunged at Jayden. As soon as my hand hit his wrist, he lost concentration and the water subsided. He glared daggers at me. I figured it was better we met as enemies than friends. He started to say something but was cut of by a flash of golden light. I turned away, so did the others, but he stared at the light. I wondered how he could do that without exploding. Only gods could do that so it meant that he was a...
Before I could figure out if I was dreaming or not, stood before me now, were three withered old grandmothers. The same ones I had seen 10 years ago, infront of me, cutting a snippet of electric blue yarn, Luke Castellan's Lifeline, to show me what would have to happen to set things right. I bowed to them, "What is it you want?" I asked the Fates. Before I could get a response, Jayden yelled behind me, swinging Riptide, trying to kill the evil grandmothers. The Fate in the middle said, "This youth is powerful", she said pointing at Jayden, who was now slashing the oxygen supplier to pieces. I thought Gee, I never would have guessed. "Do not use sarcasm on us Son of Poseidon" said the one on the left, Clotho, " We are here to tell you that your son Jayden will have three days before he, Annabeth and you are turned into Gods. We can't tell Lord Zeus this but Apollo received a prophecy saying a child of the mortal children of ATHENA and POSEIDON would be the end of the big three gods." "It will happen!" said the cutter of the thread, the grandmother on the right, "I have seen this. It will happen."
