Jake felt the air blowing hard, raising dust and moving the files he held tightly in his hand making the task of reading them nearly impossible, but he had enough of Albert Wesker. His hands balled into fists, wrinkling the papers. Sherry approached him but stopped suddenly, letting her outstretched hand drop slowly to her side, this was a moment she shouldn't interfere with.

Her worried tone reached his ears but he ignored it, she wouldn't mind.

He let the crumpled files drop beside him, giving them one last glance before letting his eyes rest on the sky's beautiful hues that turned from orange to red, hiding the sun under the layer of clouds that were starting to form in the horizon.

As he took out his black sunglasses from his jean pockets to shield his eyes from the dusty wind, a sudden idea came into his mind. He scoffed, the simple thought made him want to laugh; his father had spent his entire life making his name well known by everyone as the psychotic bastard he was.
Jake was sure that he had found the perfect way to 'honor' his father's memory.

"Jake?"

He turned to face Sherry; her face showed genuine concern. He looked down at the sunglasses on his right hand and smirked as he put them on.

"Call me Wesker."

Sherry watched silently as he walked past her and got into his bike, turning the key he had left on the ignition and listened to the loud sound of the engine. She regretted letting him read the files but it was too late to have doubts now, he deserved the truth.

"You're coming or what?"

She nodded and sat on the uncomfortable leather seat, wrapping her arms around his torso and resting her chin against his shoulder. As he accelerated she felt the wind hit her face, making her shiver slightly. After a period of silence she spoke loud enough so he could hear her voice over the engine.

"You are not like him, Jake."

"I know," He replied "I just want to have the pleasure of fucking up his reputation."

Albert Wesker wanted to destroy the world; his son was going to save it.

This is just a little idea I had after re-playing Jake's campaign and that turned up to be too long to be considered a drabble.
I hope you enjoyed it!
