Resolution

"..................Alright, I just wrote the Epilogue of Saviors, but I'm not publishing until the new year :) In a whole friggin day. I felt like celebrating, so I wrote this little ONESHOT. Slash- but mostly fluff. Pleasz R&R! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

"What? No!" Spencer Reid exclaimed

"But it's New Year's Eve! Please?" Derek Morgan begged.

"No." Reid said with a pout. He firmly planted his feet on the ground and put his hands over his chest.

"But I promised! She's looking forward to meeting you........and she's already here." Morgan added qucikly.

"WHAT?! She's already here?! But......Do I look okay?! I mean, I didn't brush my hair and I'm wearing blue jeans and-" Reid said in a panic. Morgan cut him off though.

"Hey,hey,hey! It's my mom! She's already met you, and she likes you! You don't have anything to prove to her. She just wants to visit." Morgan said. "Alright Pretty Boy?"

"But what if she changes her mind? I'm dating her son now! It's different now." Reid mumbled as he played with his hair.

"No, she won't change her mind. And your hair looks fine,Spencer." Morgan said.

"But why New Years Eve?" Reid asked.

"Because she comes to town on New Years as one of her silly resolutions- to try and hook her only son up. She doesn't exactly know we're dating,though." Morgan answered.

"I know, you told me that. I didn't tell my parents either. Especially not my dad." Reid mumbled. "Fine, I'll do it." he finally agreed.

"Well, let's not keep her waiting. Let's go! " Morgan exclaimed

"Wait, wait. She's already HERE?" Reid asked.

"Yes, but don't panic. You're ready for this." Morgan reassured.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes! Now, let's go!" With that, Morgan and Reid went back to Morgan's house........

"Derek! It's good to see you again!" his mom beamed as she gave him a hug. "Oh, and who's this?" she asked. "Reid, right?"

"Yeah Ma, that's Reid." Morgan answered with a smile.

"My, my. You sure look different. How old are you now?"

"Uh.........27." Reid stuttered, feeling nervous.

"Hmm........I bet it's he hair. I like it longer." she smiled.

"Come on, let's sit down." Morgan said as he took his coat off. He took his coat and Reid's and put them in the closet. Reid walked with his cane to catch up to Morgan and his mom.

"So, what's new with you?" she asked.

"Uh.........well there's something I have to tell you." Morgan started.

"Oh? What is it?" she asked.

"You know your New Years resolution?" she smiled at that. "Well, you won't need to this year."

"Oh my! Who is it?" she asked, trying not to jump out of her seat from excitement.

"It's Reid."

"About damn time!" she exclaimed. She turned her attention back to Reid.

"I thought he'd NEVER come get on it! I knew he liked you- it was so obvious from the way he talked about you." she smiled. Reid gave her a small smile. "Pleasure to meet you again, Spencer."

"You to, Ms. Morgan."

"So, now that that''s taken care of, how about some dinner? I'm buying." Morgan asked. Reid and Ms. Morgan nodded.

With that, they got up and went to the car. "So, how long have you two been dating...........?"
