A/N: It has occured to me while reading Outsiders that it is probably one of the slashiest books I've read, while technically not being slash XD

Obviously, in this fic Sandy did not run away to Florida, and she and Sodapop are getting married. The idea for this one came to me at school, and I spent my study hall (and Math) working on it.

Reviews are asked for! And if the idea of Ponyboy and his brother Sodapop being slashy toward each other makes you gag, you are welcome to leave a flame. You should be aware, though, that it will only be laughed at.

Disclaimer: I don't really know why these are put on peoples fics when this is FANfiction, but to be safe, I'ma tell y'all, Outsiders ain't mine! Credit goes to the lovely S. E. Hinton.

Pony had known for a few months now that Soda was marrying Sandy. It hadn't really hit him until now, when the wedding was taking place in a matter of hours and in the yard he was looking down at. He stood in the second story bedroom, staring through a dirt-crusted window. A frown gripped his handsome face. He didn't hear the door as it was quietly pushed open. He didn't notice the footsteps until they were halfway across the wood floor. He didn't turn, not even when strong, familiar arms encircled him. Ponyboy leaned into the touch, taking in Soda's familiar scent. A sudden thought popped into his head. Would it ever be the same? No longer would Pony be surrounded by Sodapop's warmth in their shared bed. No longer would Pony wake to eat breakfast with his brother, and doubtlessly end up finishing the dishes with him. Pony thought back to Soda's pearly-white smile as he playfully flicked dishwater at Pony. He gripped Soda's forearm tightly. Soda, being Soda, seemed to understand.

"Pony, it doesn't change nothin'. You're my brother."

Pony gently pulled himself away from Soda, and turned to half-sit on the white-painted window sill. He looked up at Soda's uncharacteristically serious face. Pony tried to smile. "It's just, it'll be weird without you there…"

Soda smiled one of his trademark grins. "You know I'll always be coming around to see you and Darry."

Pony's smile weakened, and he looked down. "Yeah."

Soda's arms came around Pony's neck and drew the younger boy into an embrace. Pony's chin rested on Soda's shoulder. He could feel Soda's breath brush just below his ear. Soda was really leaving him. Pony was giving him up to Sandy. It was bound to happen… Pony's eyes shut, fists clenching in the fabric of Soda's shirt. Soda nuzzled his mouth into the crook under Pony's jaw.

"Don't leave me," Pony whispered, his voice fragile. Soda's hug only got tighter, his hand coming to cup the back of Pony's head. His lips traced a path up to the corner of Pony's own. He stopped there.

"You'll always be mine, Pony. You'll have me forever." Soda murmured, hot breath skimming along Pony's closed lips.

There were the thuds outside in the hallway of someone's footsteps, and then the sudden call, "Soda, where are ya?" It was Steve, knocking them both out of the dream. Slowly, Soda drew away, fingers gliding along Pony's cheek as he gazed at his younger brother sadly. A second later, he turned away and walked out the door.

"Hey, man, you ain't even dressed! C'mon!" Pony heard Steve say after a moment.

Pony slumped on the sill, the back of his head thumping against the pane. Soda…
