What to Be
Chapter 1-Flames
This is a play I am writing about Shrek and his daughters expected decision to be made when she has reached her 14th year.
Disclaimer: I don't own Shrek or Fiona or any characters from shrek. Any other characters I do own and if you would like to use them ask me first.
Shrek and Fiona had been married for about two years before they decided it was time for a child. During their third year of marriage they had a girl and named her Arwen. When there is a cross between Fairy-tale and human (Fiona being part human still.) children are expected to make a decision. That expected decision shall not be revealed for many chapters. So on with it. Shrek is reading the paper when his five year-old Arwen walks in.
Arwen-What is human daddy?
Shrek-Human is a terrible creature that might hurt ya so you don't go near them. Understand?
Arwen-Yes daddy. Mommy is human really bad?
Fiona-Ummm.Well yes if that's what your father said.
Arwen-All-right mommy. (Arwen leaves the room thinking what her parents told her.
Shrek was watching Lord of the Rings (which is where they thought of Arwen) when a rock flew in through a window shattering the glass and awakening everyone from their sleep on the couch.
Fiona-What was that? ARWEN!!!!! ARWEN!!!!
Arwen- Here I am mommy and I smell smoke.
Shrek-Me too. Get out of the house. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!! NOW!!!
Fiona-Ahhhh the house is on FIRE!!!!
Ogers weren't liked to much being that everyone thought they were ugly and beasts. But Arwen, Arwen was beautiful. No one every thought an ogre to be beautiful. (Well except for other ogres.)
Will Shreks family get out of the house in time? Will they seise to hate the ugly and the beast? Stay tuned till next time with.dun dun dun duuun WHAT TO BE.
