This takes place when Elwood was still in jail and Curtis was already dead.

Jake Blues was riding along in a subway train sitting all by himself in a old messed up seat, he was also
wearing his dark sunglasses, his black suit, and his hat, after smoking his last cigarrette he see's a eleven
year old boy sitting all by himself and with a sad look on his poor little face, for some reason? he decided
to walk over there and talk to him, he says.

"Hey, what's the matter with you kid? why are you so dam pitiful?"

He said to Jake.

"Oh, I don't know mister ive just got the blues."

Jake, then decided to sit right next to him, he then says to the little boy.

"So... where the hell are your parents kid?"

The young boy told Jake.

"There working, they both own & run a small little restaurant, there really too busy
to spend time with there only son, I hate my parents."

Jake, then tells the kid.

"Hell, you're lucky at least you have parents, I was born an orphan the only family I have is a singer partner
that I call my brother name Elwood, a former blues singer I kind of call my dad, name Curtis, and he died
a couple of months ago, and I haven't even told Elwood about it yet, and worst of all a godmother who is
a mean old nun, my life is up shit creek kid!"

Suddenly, Jake now gets out his harmonica from his jacket pocket, and started to play it.

He sings.

"Sometimes I feel, I feel a little sad inside, Sometimes I feel ooze because baby I've got the Blues!"

He continues to play the harmonica and sings the blues to the sad boy.

"Everybody needs somebody! Everbody needs somebody! and kid you need somebody because you got the Blues!"

Suddenly, the sad boy sarts to sing along with Jake.

"I need somebody, you know it baby because I got the Blues! my folks are working, working so
darn hard, they work too munch that were always far apart! because baby it feels like ooze, and baby
i've got the Blues!"

Jake sings.

"Everybody needs somebody! Everybody needs somebody! and kid you got the Blues!"

The young boy then tells Jake.

"You're right mister, I should be thankful to have parents i'm going home right now and calling them."

He then leaves the subway, while Jake says to himself.

"Works everytime!"

The End.
