The Assassins Story

Percy Jackson is not my character, although it would be awesome if he was. This is only my second story so take it easy on me.

In the dark of the night, a figure could be seen running across the rooftops of downtown New York. Suddenly, it disappeared.

In an alley somewhere, a little girl was cornered by her three uncles. You could tell that they abused the little girl by the way she was shaking. A figure dropped down behind the three men, but he went unheard. However, the little girl noticed and started shaking in fear. The figure growled and the three men turned around.

"Get out of here before we beat you," the first one said, as he was obviously the leader. The figure said nothing.

Suddenly, he attacked. He went for the leader first and broke his nose, incapacitating him early on. The other charged him and swung their bats. He ducked causing them to hit each other. The one on the right, let's call him Joe, recovered first and tried to hit the figure. Instead of moving, he punched Joe in the stomach. Before Joe had time to recover, a knee was slammed into his face, breaking his neck. The one that was on the left tried to attack, but both his arms got broke before he got a chain wrapped around his neck. He was strangled to death. The leader finally tried to attack, but didn't get a chance to as a gun was shot, splattering his brains all over the wall. The unknown figure started to walk to the girl, however, he noticed how much she was trembling and just sat down to wait for her to calm down. A few minutes later, she finally calmed down, and looked at the figure sitting a few feet away from her. She started to inspect him and came to the conclusion that he was a male.

"Who are you?" she asked hesitantly.

"My name is Sicarius," the figure, now known as Sicarius, answered.

"Why are you here," the girl asked.

"I was sent by your mother to protect you from your uncles."

"You lie my mother died in a car crash."

"Not true. Your mother is very much alive. She just can't contact you," Sicarius replied.

"Why not?"

"Because she is an Olympian goddess."
