I do not own NCIS

A/N: okay, so this story has absolutely not point except to bring about happiness on Valentines Day, and it seems appropriate for today. – One shot, doesn't belong anywhere.

Happy Valentine's Day

It was a cold winter's day in Washington DC, that Friday morning like it had been everyday that month. Gibbs, now sitting at his desk, had spent most of his morning trying to figure out how to corner Jenny and ask her to marry him...again... and this time, he did not have any help from the city of love.

At noon, he had come up with his best idea yet, and he was going to act on it. He took the ring from his desk drawer, slipped it into his pocket and ran up stairs to her office. He stopped at Cynthia's desk and looked at her; she returned his gaze and said:

"She's not busy, and I'm not going to try to stop you from going in."

With a sly smile, Gibbs walked in and saw Jenny sitting on the couch with dinner on the coffee table, and by the looks of things, she had enough for two people. Gibbs walked over to the coffee table and sat down beside her.

"We need to talk." Jenny said, looking into his eyes.

"Yes, I think we do." Gibbs agreed

"Okay, you first." Jenny suggested

"Mine can wait, you start" Gibbs replied nervously.

"Do you mind if we say it together?" Jenny Told Gibbs unsure.

"Okay," Gibbs answered "On the count of three. One...Two...Three"

"Will you marry me?" Gibbs blurted out

"We should get married." Jenny said quickly.

"What?" they said together

"Well, will you? WE always have made a good team Jen." Gibbs complemented her

"Oh Jethro." Jenny sighed as she kissed him slow and lovingly.

"Is that a yes?" Gibbs asked

"That is most definitely a yes." Jenny replied as she kissed him again.

"Good." Gibbs said

"Happy Valentines Day." Jenny said as she rested her head on his shoulder where it belonged.
