Imagine waking up one day, unable to breathe. Like a huge weight has been placed on your chest, and it hurts.

You're gasping for air, to regain lost life. But it's useless. You know you're gone.

Imagine falling into the ocean, engulfed by darkness. Imagine sucking in water, while people around you are breathing just fine.

Imagine losing your senses. Your food all starts to taste the same, people's voices become muffled, you're going numb. Nothing appeals to you, your thoughts are all messed up, muddled and dark, pouring from the depths of your brain which had previously remained untouched and locked up.

Imagine your entire world crashing down around you in the blink of an eye. It happens so fast you can't stop it. You can hardly even believe it's happened, but it has, because you can feel the pain.

Imagine having yourself torn in half, and your better half incinerated, so that you are only left with the worst half, the half that is incomplete and slowly dies without its partner.

Imagine your best friend, the one you share your life with. The person who can make you happy again when nobody else can. The person who laughs with you over the smallest things. The person who knows you almost better than they know themselves.

Now imagine that person being stuck down, falling to the ground, lifeless. The ghost of their last laugh still etched upon their face…
