Me: Takes place before Amu meets the Guardians but after she gets her egg.
Amu: Cooky does not own Shugo Chara. Thank god for that. Enjoy. By the way, I was paid to say that. I hope you hate it and cry of agony.
Me: Yes, she is that out of character. This chapter is all in Amu's POV
My mind raced in circles, skull pounding painfully. I took another peak in my school bag, where the three eggs lay peacefully. I smiled, but it faded quickly.
'What the fuck are these eggs?!' my mind screamed. 'Has Easter come early or something?!'
I might not have had the growing up program yet (thank god), but I'm pretty sure there needed to be a father to have a baby. I'm also damn sure that humans are mammals! Sighing, I leaned against the school wall. I no longer cared whether I was late for school or not. In fact, I was beginning to want to ditch school all together. I slapped my face.
'Don't think like that!' I scolded myself. It's not like skipping school could help me solve this mystery. I stood up straight, only to be pushed back onto the wall. A blur of yellow smacked my face, making my cheeks sting. Amethyst eyes stared at me fiercely. I shuddered inwardly, but managed to keep up my facade.
"Utau, that girl has three eggs. I can sense them," a devious voice cackled. My eyes widened. The blonde's mouth did not move. I waved it off, telling myself it was just because I slammed onto the wall to hard. I stood up slowly and dusted of my pleated skirt.
'What's up with all the black? Is she Goth or something?' I wondered as I began to walk away.
"You." I stopped. "Meet me here after school?"
The way she asked, it sounded more like a demand than a question. I gulped and continued to walk.
"I'll see when the time comes."
I leaned on the same wall where I had met the blonde, my face a dark red. I pressed a cold hand to my cheek and sighed. I began to wonder why I had come back here. I honestly had no interest in what a stranger asked, no, demanded me to do. I started to wish that I did skip school.
"Aw, don't think like that Amu-chan!" exclaimed a tiny, irritating voice.
"Ran," I growled, causing the pink chara to squeal. I did not want to talk to that troublemaker anymore, especially after she embarrassed me in front of the whole school. However, she did save me from being buried alive.
Ran cheered and I glared at her.
"Then again, I wouldn't need any saving if you didn't make me tell the Prince I liked him," I exclaimed, causing Ran to whimper. I began to feel bad, but my personality didn't let me show it, or at least say sorry. I was too prideful (and cool) to do anything like that.
"Hmm, I see you came."
I turned quickly to see that same girl. She had an amuse smirk on her face, which annoyed me greatly.
"I was just passing by," I stuttered, my cool and spicy mask taking control of what I said. The girl chuckled and I balled my fist. God, I just wanted to punch that smirk off her face. She noticed my tightening fists.
"No need to get violent," she said, still amused. "Now, we usually don't do this, but do you want to join Easter?"
"Ea... ster?" I asked curiously, cocking my head. She sighed.
"A group," she grumbled, pissed off. I smiled inwardly, happy that she was done mocking me with her smirk. But, I was still confused. I didn't know a group named Easter or anything. It sounded stupid, and I did not want to join something like that.
"Sorry, but no," I answered, taking my leave.
"We're looking for something called the Embryo," she called. "It grants wishes."
I stopped, suddenly interested. I turned and faced the teen once again. "Keep talking."
"It might get your little prince to fall in love with you."
"I'm in," I blurted without thinking. My cheeks burned again and I turned around, attempting to hide my blush. The girl chuckled, making me angry again. However, I was too embarrassed to say or do anything.
"Glad your on board. Let me introduce myself. My name is Utau, Hoshina Utau."
I turned to see her pale hand extended towards me. Reluctantly, I took it.
"My name is..."
"Hinamori Amu," Utau finished the sentence for me. She turned and began to leave. "Happy working with you." She turned again. "Oh yeah, meet me here tomorrow after school. And tell no one about this meeting." Wings appeared on her back.
'Chara change?' I wondered as she, er, flew away.
Ran: I thought you said you were going to make the chapters longer.
Me: Screw that! I'm just trying to make the quality better! Mua ha ha! Also, the plot is gonna change a bit. Anyways, R&R! Ja ne!
