Terra, A Teen Titan, A True Friend

I made my mistakes.

I betrayed my friends,

I took over Jump City,

I lied to everyone,

All in the name of a madman,

But nobody understands me.

As a child,

I was cast aside,

Unwanted,

So I ran.

I never stayed in one place to long,

Because destruction followed me.

After years of running,

I found a home,

But it didn't last,

Nothing ever does.

After being betrayed,

I ran away from my new home,

I found help,

In the form of a villain.

He fixed my flaws,

And I returned home.

I returned with more secrets,

Ones even worse than before,

But I had a better time than the first time.

I gained their trust,

Learned their secrets,

Even fell in love.

However, when my loyalties were tested,

They didn't lie in my friends.

I destroyed them,

Or at least tried to.

For a time,

I really hated them,

But as I've learned,

Things change.

I am hated.

People just don't get it.

I was insecure,

And made mistakes,

Like everyone else,

In this big bad world we call home.

The worst is when people hate me,

For gaining someone's attention.

I guess there's really nothing I can do,

But as an insecure girl,

In this big bad world,

I just ask for the hatred to stop.

A/N So that last part was kind of a note to the Terra bashers... yeah.
