Author's Note: This idea has been in my head and even though it hurts to write I decided to type this up and post it. As for 'Should I Tell Him?' I have half of the chapter written and I don't know when it'll be up and I also need to write a chapter for one of my other stories so please bare with me.

This is a songfic and a oneshot. The song I used is 'Someone Like You' from the musical Jekyll and Hyde which I have never seen but we've had to sing the song in school over and over again and I decided to write a story with it. Also this is told in Freddy's point of view.

The past is holding me,
keeping life at bay,
I wander lost in yesterday,
wanting to fly-
but scared to try.

Sometimes when I think about you I wonder why we can't be together. I wonder why you have to be straight, why couldn't you have been gay? Like me. I dream of a tomorrow that will never come—a tomorrow where you will love me just as I love you. I let life pass me by because without you by my side life really has no meaning. Loving you is like flying. All kids, at one point in their life want to fly, some even try. It's scary though, some are scared of flying and some are scared of trying. I'm scared of love. I'm scared of loving you and I'm scared of telling you that I love you.

But if someone like you
found someone like me,
then suddenly,
nothing would ever be the same.

My heart would take wing,
and I'd feel so alive,
if someone like you
found me.

My life would be so much better and would mean so much more if you were with me. Someday I wish that you could find me, discover me. I would finally be alive if you loved me. I would finally mean something to someone. I would finally have significance in this world. Everything would change; nothing would ever be the same.

So many secrets
I long to share.
All I have needed

to help me see a world
I've never seen before-

There'd be a new way to live,

There is so much about me that no one knows, that no one will ever know. Unless it's you. I need someone there to set me free of myself. To let me live a life I have never fully known. If you found me, loved me then maybe I could love life—maybe I'd have a chance, maybe I'd have a purpose. I have never truly seen the world, I have never given anything or anyone enough of a chance to mean anything to me. Maybe you could open that door; maybe you could show me that world.
