Chapter one: Beginning of the end
Vash rested his head upon the coldness of a stone wall, his eyes full of pain and sorrow. His emotional wounds so deep, that it felt as though it would tear him apart at any given moment.
Years have past, but it felt like only yesterday when he was face to face with his brother Knives. Since then, Knives had faded away out of sight. Vash could feel him though; he was still out there, somewhere in the darkness, waiting. Vash closed his eyes, "Rem."
Warm tears tinkled down his cheeks. The memories of his past, like moving pictures in his mind, for so many years they've played. For so many years, they've haunted him. Though Rem was gone, she would forever remain in his mind, his heart.
