Notes: Bit of a clarification The "her" is Tenten and the "He" is Neji. This has also been edited since it's been posted on my lj and gj.

You could say that she had always been falling, ever since her birth. Her mother was the reason that she had wanted(loved) to fly. Whenever her mother trained while she watched(which was a rare, rare thing) she was always filled with joy and awe when her mother "flew" and was terrified when her mother fell. Her mother always promised that she would take her little dragon flying one day.

The first time she had flown, it had been without her mother. She had first flown at the age of twelve and she had perfected her Sōshōryū. She was filled with joy and sadness at the same time, she was rejoicing over the fact that she had finally perfected but her mother would never be able to see her fly like her mother had.

So instead she went for the next best thing, she showed her teammate instead. And when she fell, he caught her(unlike with her mother, nobody ever had caught her mother she always hit the ground oh-so-hard).

And that was when she fell for him.
