1. No matter what anybody thought Tenten had always liked Sakura. Sure the pink haired kunoichi had become Tsunande's apprentice(which she would've given anything to become), she would never hate the girl because she got something that she had wanted(she was used to disappointment). She wasn't that type of person.

2. Yamanaka Ino on the other had was a completely different story. She hated the girl.

3. Her first crush(though many thought that it was the Hyuuga Prodigy) was actually Uchiha Sasuke, she used to be obsessed... Until she meet Hyuuga Neji.

4. Her mother died the year before she entered the academy. Her mother was a tough kunoichi with an unbelievably large soft spot for her daughter, her mother had been killed while out on a mission, leaving her to live on her own.

5. She lived on her own, because her father left her mother right after she was born(she never knew him) and the rest of her (known)family was dead.

6. When she was first assigned to her genin team, she cursed god for putting her with the worst in their class and the fate-focused prodigy.

7. And when she met Gai Sensei, she decided that the world was out to get her.

8. Now, thinking back on that day, she wondered why she had ever thought that.

9. A month into her training with Hyuuga Neji, her crush on Uchiha Sasuke died.

10. On birthdays most normal(but she wasn't normal she was a kunoichi) young girls would want dolls and such, all she ever wanted was weapons.

11. Despite being of no extraordinary blood line or having any special talents, she became the number one kunoichi of their year, and was in the top ten of their class.

12. Don't ever ask Tenten a question about a weapon, or she'll go on a day-long speech about said weapon, not even stopping to take a breath.

13. When she turned 17 Hyuuga Neji asked her out.

14. And she said yes.

15. When Neji faced Uzumaki Naruto in the final round of the Chuunin Exams, Tenten was horrified when Neji lost.

16. The Chuunin exams the year after the Uchiha and Uzumaki left the village where a push over. She beat her opponent in little time, earning her the ranking of chuunin.

17. After she lost to Temari, she practiced in all weather(especially wind) so that she could be able to beat the Sand Kunoichi next time they fought.

18. She had always told Neji that she could fly and when she finally did, she told him that one day she would take him with her.

19. She always admired Lee, his determination to become a better ninja than anybody thought he could be(and secretly, she admired the way that he could so boldly state his feelings for Haruno Sakura).

20. Nobody ever seemed to notice(including Neji) how she always stood a hair closer to him than she should.

21. When Neji died, Tenten died inside.

22. And she died a few months later while on a mission. Just seeming to follow Neji's(her teammate's, her friend's, her lover's) example.

23. They had a elaborate funerals for the one, correction: two, of the best ninjas(a shinobi and a kunoichii) that Konohagakure had ever seen.
