What Will It Take?
"You know Duo." Quatre pointed a spoon at him from across the lunch table. "If you would just tell him, I'd bet you two would be a lot happier." The spoon disappeared back into the yogurt dish.
"You know Quatre." Duo shook a fork at the blonde. "If you would butt out I'd be happier too."
Quatre mock glared at him before chucking a grape at Duo's head. Duo dodged it and laughed.
"Look Quat. I'll tell him. Someday. But that day isn't today, or tomorrow, or a week from now."
"What will it take Duo?"
"Me, knowing that I'm still going to have my friend and knowing that he's not going to kill me once I blurt it out."
Quatre sighed. "And I can't help you with that?"
"Not unless you're him." Duo grinned.
"What if I told you he felt the same way?"
"Not likely." Duo snorted.
