Disclaimer: you already know I don't own it. I'm just going to say that this is a fairly old one-shot I'd written as a request a bit back and figured I'd add it here...

Notes: If it sucks let me know (even though I already know this...)

Drawing Clouds

She stood at the edge of a cliff, just looking off in the distance, her reddish brown hair sticking to her face as the rain came down. She was rarely ever unhappy, always hyper and energetic. That was, until she thought she had hurt someone very close to her. Lightning flashed far off in the distance, and thunder sounded, bringing a small smile to her face. Just as soon as it came it left.

As the storm got worse she started to feel eyes on her. "Why are you staring at me," spoke her monotone voice. She looked behind her to see a man with spiky blond hair, dampened by the rain of coarse.

"Why are you standing in the rain?" He inquired his face just as sullen as it always was.

She smiled, and started to walk back down the hill, and into the town known as Midgar. "I'm not sure," she told him.

It was later that week and she was sitting on a stool at Seventh Heaven. She was smiling and talking to Tifa. When the bell jingled on the door, indicating someone had come in. When she turned around, she saw the same man from before, same blond hair, same Mako eyes. She smiled and skipped over to him.

"Heyya buddy!" She exclaimed, "Never quite caught your name, so what is it?" she asked in a childlike manner.

"Cloud," he said, looking at her with his stoic expression.

"Well Cloud, I'm Rika!" She exclaimed.

~~~~*~~~~*Several months later*~~~~*~~~~
"Rika, what are you doing?" Cloud asked her.
"Nothing, just drawling," Rika said as she looked up from the pew she was sitting on.
"What are you drawling?" he inquired again.
"N-nothing…" she trailed off with a small blush, pulling her doodles of cloud to her chest.
"Hmm," was his silent reply as he walked by her. He stopped in front of her, taking the drawling from her hands flipping through the pages with an amused smirk on his face.
"H-hey give it back Cloud!" she called trying to reach, but failing miserably due to the height difference.
He handed her back her book after tearing out a page, he walked closer, getting close showing her the picture of a chibi Cloud kissing her on the cheek, with "I love you" written in the corner.
"You know what?" he asked really close to her ear.
"N-no" came her shaky reply, a dark blush rising to her cheeks.
He pulled back a bit smiled, and placed a small kiss on her cheek. "I love you Rika," he said, walking out of the building, a small smile still playing on his lips, his hands in his pockets. Leaving a stunned Rika standing there blush eminent on her face, as well as a smile.
