FireCacodemon: Hiya readers. Strange this story came out from a dream I had last night. I hope you enjoy it.

Nightmares
Yami awoke after having a nightmare involving the shadow realm willing to take Yugi away from him after losing a shadow duel. Yami watched his partner asleep on the other side of the room before crawling out from the warmth of his bed before wandered over the door. Yami had forgotten that Yugi had a sleepover with Joey at the game shop so Yami tripped over Joey who was sprawled out over the floor. Joey awoke with a shock as Yami tripped over him. Joey was about to yell before he felt a hand over his mouth.
"Sorry Joey" came Yami's whisper before Joey looked confused. Yami removed his hand from Joey's mouth before getting up and leaving the room. Joey who was still confused decided to follow Yami. Yami went downstairs before turning to the living room before walking the room and sitting down on the sofa. Joey followed Yami wondering why Yami was awake at this time of night when he was the last to fall asleep after making sure that both Yugi and Joey were getting sleep. Joey walked downstairs quietly before he looked into the living room to find Yami looking at a blank screen on the TV.
"Hey Yami are you ok?" Joey asked Yami. Yami looked at Joey before putting on a fake smile which always fooled Joey.
"Yeah...just a nightmare nothing to worry about" Yami told Joey.
"You wana talk about it?" Joey asked Yami.
"Yeah...but I don't know who to turn to" Yami told Joey.
"You can tell me Yami" Joey sat down next to Yami before Yami sighed.
"A shadow duel is going on between me and Yami Marik like the one that happened at the finals of the Battle City. Instead of me winning Yami Marik won causing Yugi to be sent to the shadow realm. After Yugi gets taken by the Shadow Realm I'm forced back inside the Millennium Puzzle sealing me away, Yami Marik shatters the Millennium Puzzle leaving me in the darkness which is slowly turning me insane." Yami took a deep breath after telling Joey what his nightmare was about. Joey looked completely shocked before realising that might of happened if Yami had not concentrated on the duel by the fact that Yugi might have been lost. Joey looked at Yami before smiling.
"You know what cheers me up?" Joey asked Yami.
"No" Yami gave the simple answer to Joey.
"A glass of warm milk" Joey told Yami.
"I'll try anything to get the nightmares from previous nights along with the new nightmare out of my head" Yami told Joey. Joey grabbed a couple of glasses from the cupboard after Yami pointed out where they were kept before Joey filled them up with milk. Joey placed the glasses of milk in the microwave before letting the milk warm up before he handed a glass to Yami. Joey smiled before both he and Yami drank the warm milk.
"You said you had nightmares before but you never told us about it" Joey said to Yami before he smiled.
"Usually when I have a nightmare Yugi wakes up along with me. After that we normally have a duel to sort things out but this time Yugi stayed asleep but I woke you up by accident...sorry about that Joey" Yami apologised to Joey.
"Ok then anyway lets go back to sleep. We need it for the next day" Joey told Yami.
"You mean you and Yugi need it for the next day" Yami corrected Joey. Joey smiled before nodding.
"Yeah me and Yugi need it. I bet you will be back inside the Millennium Puzzle trying to unlock your past" Joey smiled at Yami who nodded.
Both Yami and Joey headed back upstairs and crawled back into their beds before placing their heads on their pillows and closing their eyes.
"Thanks Joey" Yami told Joey before he nodded off.
"No problem Yami" Joey told Yami before he nodded off to sleep.
Yugi smiled.
