How was he supposed to feel? What was he supposed to do? All these faces. All their actions. He could feel they were supposed to mean something to him, but his inability to think made his memory hazy. He could only watch and take things as they were now. Even during this pie fight. Must have been a Japanese thing.
"Anything feel familiar? Karasuma-kun?" He turned now, giving his attention to the only one who stayed by his side. Again, he knew somehow he knew her, but couldn't place his finger on how or why. "Your thinking stopped, huh... I guess it's all in pieces..." He stared on, just watching the neutral expression he had become familiar with when he failed to remember something.

One thing was for certain...

He sensed it; one of the pies from the fight was coming this way, straight toward this girl!

He would always protect her.

He caught it just in time, the stray pie that dared try to reach her. He wouldn't let anyone or anything hurt her, even though he couldn't really remember her name.

If the heart forgets, the body remembers.

"T-thank you...!" she could barely say as she watched the cream from the pie drip off his fingers. He watched for a moment before he sensed more oncoming pies headed their way and slapped therm away from her as quickly as he could. Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough to block her from one.
His eyes widened, shocked for a second while she flinched and immediately took refuge behind her hands.
Then, he caught it. A tall guy with tanned skin, sunglasses, and a beard came and caught the pie that he himself had managed to miss. He stared for a second before he felt something in his mind click.

"I'm going to see Tsukamoto..."

"Y-you're- Ha... Ha..." he pointed, feeling he was very close to the memory.
"Eh?!"
"He's remembering something?!"
"Karasuma-kun!"
"Hanai-kun!" he finally said, and at his answer, the tall guy fell, now toppled on the ground.
"So close!" The girl, a blonde, and a blue head all said in unison with a synchronized snap of their fingers.
Ah, he had gotten it wrong. He felt a little disappointed but was glad he was close. He was probably that much closer to remembering.
He looked away for a bit, staring at the pies. They both protected her... Him and this other guy. Maybe they were friends. He wish he remembered. He s interrupted, though, by the sound of the girl's sobbing. For some reason, it made him a little upset.
"Why did you go and make her cry? And after all this time..." three people from the fight glared at the guy, everyone else behind them, all of them with readied pies waiting to be fired. All that came out from the guy was a very stunned and confused "Eh..." sound.
Seeing the guy had enough to deal with as he s bombarded by the now pain-inflicting pies, Karasuma turned to the girl as a gentle smile peeked out. "Welcome back..." she had managed to whisper and returned to his side.
Karasuma blinked when she returned. Who cares if he didn't remember. These people would probably trigger his memories their own way someday.
The girl who stayed by his side smiled at him, making him feel a gentle warmth grow in his heart.
Maybe "coming back" was a good thing after all...
