Narusaku
This is my new oneshot series. I guess it's been awhile since I published something so here I go. Enjoy and please review!
"Naruto, wait up!" called Hinata as she chased after him. She had heard from him that Sakura had returned from a lone mission seriously injured. Kiba and the others had also been told and were struggling to keep up with the worried ninja as well. Naruto wasn't slowing down and nothing they said would stop him. They were out of breath shortly after starting their short journey to the hospital.
When they finally reached the hospital, they rushed inside and to her room. There they found her lying in bed, her head bandaged and her chest bandaged as well. Sakura was sitting up, Tsunade checking over her. "You shouldn't have tried to bring him back. You know he's stronger than you!" she chastised Sakura. Sakura sighed. "I'm sorry; it's just that I thought he would finally come back with me." Naruto noticed she was about to cry.
"Hey, Sakura, don't worry. We'll get Sasuke back one day." He himself felt like he was going to cry. It not only hurt to know that he may never live up to his promise of bringing Sasuke back but it killed him to see Sakura like this. Tsunade sighed. "I'm going to go get your medicine." She motioned at the group behind Naruto. "Follow me. I need to explain something to you." There was a knowing look in her eyes. Naruto noticed and realized that the time had come. (A/N: This is going so wrong. I know this won't get any reviews. My head is too cluttered with so many thoughts to be paying attention to this story.) They left and Naruto turned to Sakura.
"Sakura?"
"Yeah?"
"Um..." His face was red when Sakura looked up at him. Her heart skipped a beat as she looked at him.
"What is it?" Is he planning on asking me out again?
"Will...you go on a date with me after you get out of the hospital?"
"Yes," Sakura replied without hestitation. Naruto looked up in surprise. "Really?" Sakura nodded with a smile. "Actually, I've been wanting to ask you out, too. I've been unable to stop thinking about you for a second." Her face turned bright red. Naruto grinned. "Awesome!" He knew she felt the same way. Finally! he thought happily. "N-n-naruto?"
"Hm? What is it, Sakura-chan?"
"Please...kiss me..." She closed her eyes when she spoke. As soon as those words were out of her mouth, she felt something soft upon her lips. She opened her eyes a bit and saw Naruto's blue eyes gazing into hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck though it was painful. I hope that he won't leave me like Sasuke did...
