Ginevra Potter sat quietly on the dark blue kitchen counter reading a muggle newspaper. Harry's cousin, Dudley, had won a pie-eating contest and made the front page. Vernon, Dudley's father, had mailed a copy of the paper to everyone he knew. Two years had passed since Ginny had last seen Dudley, and she wasn't planning to see him again anytime soon. Charlie, Ginny and Harry's 4-year-old son, squealed. Ginny silently dropped the paper, jumped off of the counter, and walked into Charlie's bedroom. He was sitting in his little bed, covered in red and green stripes. He was wearing nothing but a diaper and he was clutching green and red markers in his tiny hands. Ginny smiled and lifted him out of his bed. "Kismas Twee," Charlie said. She laughed and replied, "Yes, honey, you do look like a Christmas tree!" Ginny carried Charlie into the kitchen and put him in a chair at a small play table. While she was preparing a meal for Charlie, his twin brother Cohen woke up. Cohen was a quiet little man who spent lots of time with his mum. On the other hand, Charlie was a loud and expressive boy who loved watching his parents play Quidditch in their big backyard. The boys ate their breakfast quickly. When they finished eating, Ginny went into the nursery and carefully picked up Hermione. Hermione Raine Potter was eight and a half months old. She was Harry and Ginny's only daughter, and she was named after Ginny's sister-in-law Hermione Weasley. Ginny gently laid the sleeping baby on her changing table. She undressed her slowly, hoping not to wake her. She tossed her pyjamas into an empty laundry bucket and dressed Hermione in a turquoise and white striped onesie and placed a white headband with a ginormous bow on her head. Then, she put her back in her crib and walked away. She found Cohen and Charlie racing matchbox cars across the bright blue carpet in their bedroom. Ginny dressed them and left them to play while she ate her breakfast, an english muffin and a banana with a pumpkin spice latte. She heard Hermione crying, so she walked into the beautiful nursery and retrieved her little angel. She sat in a white wooden rocking chair and fed Hermione while the boys played.
