Disclaimer: Dark Cloud is a really good game. But funnily enough, I don't own the rights.

AN: This is partially based of a fic called 137 ways to annoy Lord Voldemort. I have adapted some of the suggestions for a series of Dark Cloud fics. Enjoy.

"A wooden box, an auto-reader and the moon." Max said out loud, before letting out a growl. "No, that doesn't work. How about a milk can, a computer and the moon? No, THAT doesn't work EITHER!"

"Having trouble Max?" Monica asked cheerfully and Max gave her a smile.

"Just trying to think of new inventions." He replied. "But I can't seem to think of anything!"

"Hmm" Monica put her hand on her chin for a moment as she decided to ponder the solution to his problem.

"It's not a serious problem!" Max protested as a mischievous grin came over Monica's face.

"Hold still." She told him and did. (This was a very good self-preservation technique, listening to what Monica told you.) She grabbed a light bulb from the table beside her and concentrated hard. Levitation was a hard trick to do and if she wasn't careful, the bulb would shatter. Slowly, the light bulb lifted and came top a stop above Max's head. Then she began flicking the light bulb on and off.

"Monica…" Max growled in a low voice. Monica looked at him with a hurt expression. The one that made him unable to resist her."

"I was just trying to help!" She protested. Max looked at her and Monica looked right back. There was a moment of tense silence before suddenly, the two of them burst out laughing.

"You did say it was a problem." Monica said through her laughs.

"My fault for thinking aloud." Max admitted with a grin.
