Hey everyone! I'm just saying this is my first ONE-SHOT, and i posted this on the page i admin as Thalia. Heroes of Olympus: House of Hades page. BESIDES THAT! Remember throughout this whole story, i want to strangle Aphrodite for romance. ^_^

[CONNOR P.O.V]

It's around 9pm and I'm walking in the direction of the Big House, because Chiron called me. Probably because of the exploding toilet seats in the bathrooms. Ahh, i always love the holidays. Anyway, i'm walking towards the Big House when i see a figure running away from the doors. I, or course, run after it (later figuring out it was a girl, but i'll get to that).

I speed after her and slow to a clearing, only to see my childhood crush, Katey, sitting on a fallen tree sobbing. Katey is a daughter of Aphrodite, except she doesn't look or seem like one. She has black-brown hair and dark cold eyes. A small scar from ages ago ran along side her right cheek. She was wearing a dark red t-shirt with her camp beads around her neck. Wearing black jeans and black shoes. She could probably pass off as a child of Hades.

Besides that, she was sobbing. It wasn't like her at all. She always tried to bottle up her emotions. I sat beside her and Katey looked up at me with those cold eyes i found endearing.

"What are you doing here Connor?" She asked trying to mask her sorrow.

"The better question is, why are you crying?"

She glared half-heartily and didn't respond. I nudged her shoulder. "Come on, you can tell me."

She sighed and relaquently said "My half-brother died."

"Oh" was all i could say. When she said 'half-brother', she didn't mean an Aphrodite boy. She meant her brother back home in Colorado. He was the son of Hecate. I know, two goddesses? What did he look like? But besides all that, Connor put his left arm around her waist and pulled her closer.

"What happened?" I asked curiously.

She wiped a tear. "He was fighting a bunch of monsters and got stabbed in the back my his team-mate, after he saved him." Ouch.

Connor looked down at the shorter girl and smiled. "Dont worry about him." I soothed. "Im sure he'll end up in the Esylum."

Katey looked up at the son of Hermes. "Are you sure?"

Connor nodded, and slowly leaned in. Katey closed her eyes and leaned in also, until their lips touched. Connor grinned, and he swore he felt the daughter of love smile too. After a few minutes they broke the kiss and Connor stood up, offering his hand to Katey. They both walked hand-in-hand to the cabins, where he kissed her good-night and walked back to Cabin 11 with a jump in his step.
