Charred Petals
Roses fall
Delicately into her palm,
Swaying in the silent breeze.
Twisting in the folds of soft
Lips of night
Blooming into a dark
Translucent scarlet note,
Whispering,
Caressing
Her solemn sobs.
Folding over
Peeling through the shadows
Of sorrow, eating through her.
Keys clicking under tear petals
Pouring out the soul of sorrow
Emanating through the life filled
Wilting petals
The pearl pure white dress
Cascading around the gray stone squares
Trilling around
Soaking in the poured river of tears.
Scarlet teases frills
Charring the deadly white
With pure black.
Roses fall
Delicately through her tears.
