It was just another day at the Tower…well scratch that. It was actually New Year's Eve and for once the Teen Titans decided to lay back and throw a small party. And by small I mean every Titan who ever existed was at the party.

Mas y Menos were over by Starfire, Cyborg was chatting with Bumblebee, Beastboy somehow got into a burping contest with Aqualad, and Robin was busy comparing weapons with Speedy. In fact every Titan was communicating except one. That is until someone decided to interrupt her.

"So that's what you really look like?" Raven glanced up from the novel she was reading to find Herald looking at her.

"Sorry?"

"Well when I first met you, you were just…black and white." Raven furrowed her brow in confusion. She didn't really remember talking to Herald before…wait that wasn't true. She was the one who gave him his communicator."That was my soul self. It was the only way I could give you your communicator. You should really consider that visiting you is not the easiest thing to do." Herald chuckled and sat down. Raven raised her eyebrow. Herald just looked back at her cheerfully. After a few minutes, Raven decided to take advantage of the silence to finish her book.

"So do you dye your hair?" Raven raised her head in confusion.

"What?" Herald looked at her.

"Well I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure nobody from Earth has violet hair." Raven chuckled.

"Did you ever consider that maybe I'm not from Earth? On my planet violet hair is pretty normal." Raven then narrowed her eyes. "Why are you so curious about my hair?"

"Well it just looks unique. Kind of fits your personality." Raven felt a twinge of annoyance.

"Care to explain?" she asked in a monotone voice. However, looking at her you could tell she was a little pissed off. Anytime someone called her 'unique' they were just being too polite. What they really meant was 'weird', 'freakish', or 'witch-like'.

"Well violet is a unique color. It's a mix between red and blue so it's dark but not too dark. Same as you. You send off this message of being so dark but personally I think you aren't as dark as you think you are." Raven blinked at Herald in shock. After a minute the only thing she could think to say was:

"You really know your color wheel." Herald laughed out loud.

"Do you always have a comeback?" Raven looked at him seriously.

"Yes." Herald glanced at her still smiling and stood up.

"Have a happy New Year's Raven." In response Raven just gave a curt nod.

"Oh and by the way," Raven looked up with a sigh, "Jericho wanted me to tell you that his favorite color is purple." Herald jumped up and left a bewildered Raven on the couch. And this time she didn't have a comeback.
