Draco and Pansy... A "Convient" Arrangement

Draco kept him self in check, Luicus and Parkinson's Dad were both trying to explain to him his situation. Apparently the two arranged to marry, both families were high in power and wealth as well the fact they were both purebloods. It seemed like a perfect fit. Unfortunaly Draco had never told Lucius about him being gay. Otherwise he would have been killed and wouldn't need to deal with this at all.

"This is a good family" They would say "You need to continue on the perfect family line" another would chime in. Honestly Draco didn't give a shit about the family line. In fact over the years he had developed a liking for a certain boy-who-lived. Imagine if Lucius knew about that...In the other room Draco know the female parents were convincing Pansy it was a good Idea too.

Pansy was sitting in the parlor of the Malfoy Manor, listening to her Mother and Draco's Mum rattling on and on actually repeating each other word for word about the importance of pureblood connections and lines and how this marriage was perfect for her and Draco. "This is a perfect arrangement for two young suitable pureblood children. Both from well respected families" They told her one right after another. Yes both of their families were wealthy, powerful and not to forget purebloods.

Pansy and Draco were best friend. AND she did fancy him, what girl didn't? But she knew his secret and they didn't. Not that I would ever tell it to anyone EVER. But Pansy had eyes for another, one who was a loner and kept to himself. But her parents didn't approve of the Nott's. Sure they were pureblood and Death Eaters but they weren't in the Inner circle as were her and Draco's Parent's were. That meant the Nott's were below The Malfoy's and the Parkinson's. And Parkinson's DON"T marry below them. They marry above or equal to them, Like the Malfoy's. Pansy knew Draco was in the study getting the same lecture from her father and Mr. Malfoy at this exact moment.

"Yes Father, Yes Mr. Parkinson." Draco replied and gave his most convincing smile. The two were delighted and rushed Draco into the parlor to meet the ladies. Both of the families had previously signed a contract when the two were born about their marriage, so all that was left to be done was convincing the two heirs. And it seemed easy enough... Draco approached Pansy and gently taking her hand and lifting it to his lips kissing her knuckles.

"Would you be my bride, M'Lady?" Oh He was good... It was convincing enough to the point he could practically hear all four of the parents relief and smiles.

"Yes Ma'am, Yes Mother." She said with a rather faux smile. God they could eat me alive with those smiles She thought as they smiled at her. They quickly stood as men appeared from the study into the parlor. She turned towards Draco as he took her hand and kissed it.

"Would you be my bride, M'Lady?" Oh He thanks he is so smooth... He asked as their parents sighed in relief and smiled in approval. She smiled at him and replied just as smoothly. "I would be honored My Dear" She quickly leaned forward and kissed his right cheek. If they only knew...
