Eyes saw green when Kenpachi watched Byakuya flirt with Mai on the other side of the room.
2. Window
Kenpachi never believed others when they said 'Eyes are the window to ones Soul'.
3. Eyes
But after gazing into Mai's blood red eyes, there was no denying that the saying was true.
4. Time
The first time they'd met was when she was called up on stage as a part of the Eleventh Squad and he had openly stared down her shirt.
5. Light
The Eleventh Division Captain loved the way the sun light shone on the woman's coconut cream skin – but he'd never admit it.
6. Fun
Both Kenpachi and Mai had the same definition of fun, fighting.
7. Sing
When Mai sung she had the voice of an angel, but with Kenpachi it was another story.
8. Warm
His arms were warm as he wrapped them around her slim waist.
9. Seduce
Kenpachi didn't know what was wrong with himself, but he did know there was something in the way Mai fought that turned him on.
10. Rainbow
Neither Kenpachi or Mai were ones to be amazed by a rainbow but Yachiru definitely was, and now she was dragging both of them towards the end to find the pot of gold.
11. Rain
All three had returned to the squad barracks drenched from the rain that had conveniently started while Yachiru dragged her father figure and her friend around the soul society.
12. Flower
Kenpachi wasn't one to give someone a flower, but when he saw a Dahlia the same colour of Mai's eyes, he just had to buy it.
13. Study
The first time they physically fought, Mai stood back and let Kenpachi attack her, studying his movement before she drew her Zanpakuto as well. Needless to say the fight ended with neither being able to continue.
14. Mirror
She had never cared what she looked like around him before, but the minute Kenpachi has asked Mai to dinner, she spent the rest of the day checking herself in the mirror, making her feel worst then Yumichika.
15. Hug
After their first date they didn't share a long passionate kiss, like in movies – they hugged, said good night and went their separate ways. Who said chivalry dead?
16. Art
Kenpachi made Mai feel like a person and not just a beautiful piece of art.
17. Hide
When Yachiru went on her first date, Kenpachi dragged Mai along and made her hide in the bushes whenever the pink haired girl turned around.
18. Dinner
The brute Captain had ruined Yachiru and Ikkaku's dinner when he felt that his third seat had gotten a little too close to his lieutenant/daughter for his liking.
19. Shoes
No one understood how someone as clumsy as Mai could wear stilettos and still so graceful in a fight.
20. Music
The sound of Mai's laughter was like music to Kenpachi's ears.
21. Heart
Everyone in the Soul Society believed Kenpachi only longed for a good fight, but since he met Mai that wasn't true, now he longed for another day to live just to see the woman who'd captivated his blood thirsty heart.
22. Short
Even with heels Mai was short, especially when standing next to Kenpachi – but then again everyone's short when standing next to the man, expect for the captain of the seventh
23. Comfort
For the first time since she left the seventy-seventh district, Mai truly found comfort in Kenpachi's arms.
24. Idea
The idea of being with Kenpachi for the rest of her life had her stomach and heart doing the sacred dance love.
25. Jump
Kenpachi's heart jumped when Mai agreed to be his bride.
