"Please I'm begging you to woo me
Falling in love
Please I'm begging you to make me suffer
Falling in love with you"
-Chiodos "Open The Fridge"
He was what one could call a hopeless romantic.
Lysander was so damn naïve and every single time he liked someone BAM, he was in love. No, this was not fool-hardy love. He truly was completely and utterly devoted to each and every girl. He always believed that he knew the girl but he was always so mistaken.
Now, he knew Molly better, actually knew her; he found out that he could never be happy with her. She was too hard, too rough around the edges, too selfish. He was never able to make her happy and he was killing himself trying. No bouquet of flowers smelled fresh enough. No box of chocolates tasted just right. No kiss was passionate enough. His heart wasn't strong like other boys - she crushed it like a bug, with that familiar sneer on her face.
He had tried to love her - he had tried to be all that she needed, but she needed so damn much. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to break the ball-and-chain that kept him locked at her side and he had to do it soon because he was so broken. Would Molly even care if he left? He would like to believe that she would but, truthfully, he doubted it. Now all he had to do was woo the one that he loved.
See, just recently he had fallen in love, yet again. But to his horror it was with Lucy. Why? Why was his heart so suicidal? Why did it think that it could be kept safe with these wild Weasley girls? And Lucy? She had so many problems and faults of her own - he shouldn't want a girl like her. His poor poor heart was already broken enough but she just reeled him in. She knew him for the sucker that he was and she knew that his heart was so, so easy to take - she knew that his heart could fix where she was broken. That didn't sound so bad, right? Wrong! Lucy had no plans to give him her heart in return. No, that would be silly of a Weasley girl to do.
So why? Why didn't Lysander just open his clear blue eyes and see these girls for the evil monsters that they were? Why did he bother to shed his ball-and-chain to only be caught again? Maybe it was because he was a glutton for heartbreak? No, that wasn't it. Poor Lysander just wanted to be loved and since Molly wasn't able to do that, he would wander blindly into another malicious girl's arms. Oblivious Lysander would never get a heart in return for his…

The lyrics belong to Chiodos(they were actually 'Chiodos Bros' when they made the song.) It's a great song but make sure you listen to the one that Craig Owens sings. That other guy sucks! That is a whole different story...
