Cherry Blossoms

Remember that day well. It was a beautiful spring day. I walked under the Cherry Blossoms. It was a late summers day. I remember the excitement I felt. I was going to be a Kaleido Star! My costume had been a Ballerina. Around and around I twirled. My arms extended as I fell into the arms of my fellow actor. The lights went out, and the crowd cheered. That day meant so much to me, but I didn't just get there. I worked very hard and spent my days walking about, trying to be graceful, and swift. Everyone giggled when I tried to balance a book upon my head. I ended up with a large bruise on my knee.

I would often dream about flying through the stage, and being some fancy Madame. But, the thing about dreams, is the don't always work. I worked hard, but I didn't find out until my last performance, the performance that ended my career. I had been a beautiful Geisha. My umbrella had the designs of flowers. I remember walking under the Cherry Blossoms. Their beauty filled me with warmth. I felt; well, as if my soul had just begun to live. It wanted to escape me, and join the Cherry Blossoms.
