Ayame Haku – Before Kyoya (Prologue to story)
"Kyoya is a very quiet child," Ayame's mother once told her. "His father is a very prestigious man," she had also said, a look of wonder in her eyes. All Ayame knew about Kyoya Ootori was that he was always being compared to his two older brothers, being an heir to Mr. Ootori's business. Others have never spoken about Kyoya in a bad way, just that he is mysterious. The only reason Ayame knew Kyoya was because they had been neighbors before he had gone to Ouran Academy. He had a house in Karuizawa since his father was so rich, and they stayed there sometimes in summer. There was something about him that had always interested Ayame, and she couldn't quite figure out what.
