DANCING ALL ALONE
Her feet lightly touched the polished wood floor, it was as if she was weightless, floating.
The sound of singing filled the room with a sound so magical, so sad. tears filled her eyes as her slim body preformed a pirouette, her toes pointed as she leaped into the air, her body twisted in on its self mid-leap and she somersaulted falling thought the air head over heals, her long fingered hands were poised. The perfect white of her flowing gown acted like water, flowing lightly in the air as she landed on her feet with the grace of a falling sakura peattle on the water's surface. She raised her arms, poising her hands. She reached out to the air, as if to take someone's hand. Reaching one hand out behind her, she arched her back and raised her foot to touch the back of her head, then, moving it out to come around her body in a crescent moon motion and cross her ankles. She trotted forward to leap up again, this time she pirouetted, her long legs twisting around like a fairy in a music box. She spun and twisted with her imaginary partner. And she closed her eyes. She heard only the music playing. His face was playing in her mind, she was pretending, all alone.
Dancing all alone.
