First fanfiction please review about reid and a lady love
Ch.1 Nice to meet you
Reid was standing in the corner of the briefing room going over the new file when I heard the door creep open. I looked up to see Garcia's familiar perky smile.
"Hi Reid!" She chimed. "The new member of your team has just arrived!"
Reid faintly recalled being told of this.
"We were all wondering if you could help get her situated"
Reid nodded absently his eyes beginning to wander back to the file.
"Hi, I'm Alex I'll be the new member of the profiling unit." A sweet and quiet voice called his attention.
His head snapped up and found a rather tall woman before him. She looked like she was in her early twenties no older than himself. She had dark brown hair with purple highlights that cascaded down in loose curls to her shoulders. She was wearing a loose fitting plaid black and white button up and a knee length tulle skirt with black and white striped leggings. She stood out in a rather attractive way. Reid was suddenly aware of his slack jaw and staring.
"Oh, uh hello!" Reid managed to stutter while offering her his hand.
"Hi" she replied sweetly ignoring his blatant awkwardness.
"I suppose I'll be your understudy for the next few weeks."
Her apparent gentle nature did not seem to suit her less than conventional style. He nodded slightly as his eyes focused on her face. Her expression exuded innocence and her eyes shone brightly as if glowing with intelligence. She had very light skin and it was then that he noticed her rose petal lips that stood out beautify on her face which was untouched by any sort of makeup. For the sake of him he could not find one useless fact to share at the moment.
"So how about we start tomorrow seeing as how its 9 in the evening and you me and Garcia are the only people in the office"
Reid completely unaware of the time glanced at his watch and hastily collected his things.
In the process a volume of Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat had fallen out of his bag. He noticed the volume and blushed furiously as he picked it up and shoved it into his bag. Vampire tales had always sort of been a guilty pleasure with him and this particular book was his favorite. How childish mist he have looked then… What would she think of him now reading such nonesnese?!
"I love that book…" Alex whispered softly. "Though I must say from what I've heard about you, I didn't think you would enjoy reading something like that.
"A wise person once said:' to tell the truth I still read fairy tales, and I love them best of all'"
Alex nodded smiling.
"I always felt sorry for Lestat you know, the misunderstood being that he was he almost reminded me of myself…" she trailed off suddenly realizing that she hadn't meant to say that.
"That's a tragic thing to say"
"Not really, well anyways I'd best be going now I'll see you tomorrow Ried." She said with a faint smile touching her lips.
Reid nodded already counting the seconds until he saw her again. What was it about the girl that intrigued him so? He had a feeling about this one.
