Summary- This is after the FMA movie. Edward is writing in his little notebook to Winry. But he knows that he will never get to meet or see her. Bad summary, I know.

Winry,

I hope you get this letter. Well, there won't be any hope because Al and I are in the other side of the Gate. But heck, I feel like writing this to you!

You must be wondering, what's on the other side of the Gate. I guess we're in this world called "Germany". That's what Alfons told me. No, Alfons Heidrich, not Al. But seriously! These people here look exactly like people in Amestris! Creepy, huh? Anyway, this world is just like our world but doesn't learn or use Alchemy! Before, my old man told me, "Every time we transmute anything in our world, (Amestris) sacrifices must be made here." and same with any other worlds, Winry. The energy someone used in Alchemy are people dying here, strange huh? But I wasn't really sure back then because back then, I was still pissed at my old man and didn't hear him clearly.

Once Al and I track down that Uranium bomb and to destroy both side of the Gate, I don't (think) Al and I will ever go back home. Germany is our home now and probably forever, Winry. Mustang must have already destroyed it.

Now, we're living on our own with the help of new friends here. I hope you will write back. Like I said, there won't be any hope. I will always miss you Winry. There will always be a spot in my heart for you, and I will always write to you if I have the time. And please don't cry when you read this letter (If you get this letter).

Author's Note: (snif snif*) How sad!! I almost cried writing it. Do you guys think Edo here is OOC (out of charater)? I'm not sure. Anyway, please read/review and add any comments! The info about the sacrificing and the rules about the gate I'm also not so sure about. It's like on episode 49-51, I don't know, somewhere around there where Hohenheim was talking to Ed in Germany. I think it was ep. 50. Please write back of what Hohenheim talked about, I'll be really appreciated! Thanks for reading!! ^_^
