I do not own any part of the Fire Emblem series
I also do not own the character appearing in this chapter. He is from… well, since for some random reason I don't feel like telling you the name of one of the main characters of this series is yet, you'll have to wait till next chapter to find out. Anyone who can guess gets a cake. Suffice to say nothing In this series is mine.
Darkness… All around the grey haired young man there was nothing but darkness. Above, below, left, right, in front and behind him, there was nothing else. He smiled sadly as he brushed a strand of hair out of his eyes. This is how it should be he thought, and sighed. He hovered momentarily and suddenly burst out laughing. After all, it was just laughable wasn't it. To think, how pathetic and cowardly he had been, how could he do anything but laugh?
After all, this world of darkness and solitude, this was what he had wished for wasn't it? To be alone, to leave the world where he was feared, and hated. A world where everyone knew what he was… what he could do… where in the one moment he finally gave up and surrendered to the powers that rested within hi, he nearly killed the few people who would still call him friend, even though they knew what he was.
No, this was how it should be…
But then, a tiny point of light appeared on the horizon.
He stared at it, perplexed. Then, the light began to pulsate, and he heard an unfamiliar voice calling out to him. He couldn't understand what the voice was trying to say. It was muffled, like he was hearing it from the other side of a wall, and yet… It was oddly soothing.
The light began to shine even brighter, and then, to the young mans dismay, it began to grow. Larger and larger, the intrusive light slowly destroyed the safety that he had given up so much to have. The light began to pull him in, and no matter how hard he flailed his arms he couldn't stop himself. Eventually he simply gave up and sighed. Then the light engulfed him completely, and he lost consciousness.
Well, if you've played Mana Khemia, it should be pretty obvious who he is, if not, oh well.
By the way…
THE CAKE IS A LIE!!
Couldn't resist. Lol
Anywho, this story was originally a cross over with Mana Khemia and a different series, but I liked this idea better.
