Hermione Granger was sitting in the prefect carriage on the Hogwarts express, she was waiting for the head boy to arrive so they could give the new prefects instructions. Hermione was ecstatic to find out she had been chosen to be head girl, and could not wait to get started! Although waiting for this New head boy was getting tedious and she was beginning to show signs of impatience, tapping her foot and sighing.

the compartment door slid open and the eight now prefects walked in looking a little nervous, Hermione smiled warmly at all of them, the Gryffindors gave her a big grin spotting her red and gold badge, the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws smiled politely, the Slytherins however looked at her coldly. Right you guys Hermione said clearly, I am Hermione Granger your new head girl, now before we start we have to wait a little longer for our new head boy, as soon as the words came out her mouth, a dishevelled looking boy stumbled in, ah Hermione said brightly you must be the head bo- her mouth gaped open.

The new head boy was Draco Malfoy!
