"I thought I'd fine you here."
Her blue eyes looked up and saw the very last person she wanted to see. He gave her his infamous grin that always have her the urge to punch him. But today she wasn't in the mood. She rested her chin back in the middle of her knees and held them closer to her chest. He frowned and then leaned against the tree she sat under. "Why did you run? You know she was just-""Look I don't want to hear any crap from your damn lips!" She snapped standing up glaring at him with her angry light orbs.
"You're the one who started the damn fight, not me. And you have the nerve that you didn't know she will go against me to defend your ass." She added with such venom in her tone. His blue eyes looked down at his large, very large, size feet. "I'm. . .I'm sorry." He mumbled loud enough for her to hear.
"You're sorry? You're sorry." She scoffed. "The only thing you're sorry Snow is for not breaking apart Sarah and me, that's the only thing you are sorry-"
"Do you really think I'm doing that?" Snow yelled cutting her off. She blinked and looked at him in shock. He never talked to her in that tone, even with all of the arguments they had, he never spoke to her in that tone. "I know what you and Serah have a special relationship, Lighting. I'm not an idiot."
'Oh really?' Lighting thought rolling her eyes.
"I would never, ever think about destroying that. Serah looks up to you. She would never pick me over you." He glared at her.
Lighting looked away. She didn't want to admit- that was the last thing she wanted to do, that Snow was right. But that didn't stop her from still being started to get annoyed with Lighting not answering nor looking at him. She was so stubborn. He was thankful Serah didn't pick up that same trait. Lighting just stared into the sun set capturing the beautiful picture. The only thing that ruined it was Snow. Snow watched the young strawberry blonde stare at the sun set letting the light orange/pinkish ray touch her face gently. Snow blinked and gulped slowly. He never noticed how pretty Lighting was. He quickly shook that thought he thought he blinked and noticed Snow staring at her. She felt her left eyebrow twitch in annoyance.
"What?" Lighting snapped. Snow blinked and blushed a light pink. Lucky you couldn't tell because of the sunlight.
"Nothing." He replied. Lighting's eyebrows narrowed."
So you were staring at me for no reason? That's what you are telling me?" Lighting questioned.
"Well yeah, why do you care anyways?" That made Lighting's blood boil.
"Are you kidding me?"
"What?" Snow snapped.
"You were just staring at me and now you are acting like you never did anything you annoying piece of-"
"I was thinking how pretty you looked in the damn sunlight!" Snow cut her off screaming loud enough for everyone to hear, making a few birds fly away. Lighting blinked.
"Wha-what?"
"You look pretty in the sunlight." Snow repeated. Lighting let her hair cover her eyes while she looked away and started to. . .
Blush?
Hm, even I didn't see that coming.
Snow realize Lighting's cheeks were dark and blinked and actually felt his heart thump in a different way. Usually his heart beats when he did something good for himself or for somebody but this time it thump and he actually liked this feeling. He did a small smile and closed the gap between. "See, lighten up some more and you'll show how pretty you are." Lighting's eyes widen and looked up and gasped noticing how close Snow was and when he wrapped his hand around her chin gently pulling her face to look up at him. He leaned down and before he closed his blue eyes he saw Lighting's eyes widen open as if she saw a ghost. He chuckled and pressed his lips Gently on hers and left without saying a word leaving Lighting there. Alone, in the first possibly,
In love.
